soft Xpansion has released the new version 6 of its Perfect PDF product family. It consists of six standard software applications for the creation, editing and display of PDF files. Each of the programs is aimed at specific tasks that one may come across in connection with PDF files. Bochum, Germany, June 14, 2010 -- Soft Xpansion allows for the global importance of the PDF file format by regularly refreshing and expanding its broad product range. The new version 6 does not only see new functionality in the five existing products, but also one new family member, Perfect PDF 6 Commentator. These versions are complete as far as the functionality is concerned. However, they include a watermark ("soft Xpansion") on all PDF file pages that are displayed, created or edited by the demo program. THE FAMILY MEMBERS Perfect PDF 6 Premium offers the richest set of features in the Perfect PDF 6 family. It is the successor to Perfect PDF 5 Premium and includes all functionality of the five other products. Perfect PDF 6 Professional provides all features of Perfect PDF 6 Premium, with the one exception that it does not import metadata from Microsoft Office documents. Perfect PDF Editor allows editing of existing PDF files and the creation of completely new documents from empty pages, including PDF forms. Creation of PDFs from printable files or from Microsoft Office files is not included. A virtual printer is not included either and there is no integration into Windows Explorer, Microsoft Office or Internet Explorer. Perfect PDF 6 Office may be used in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook only. It converts Microsoft Office files and documents into PDF, including metadata. Commenting and editing page content are not possible in this program. Perfect PDF 6 Converter is the right solution for the "pure" conversion of any printable files into the PDF format. It includes integration into Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer and into the following core Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Annotating PDF documents and adding or modifying comments is not supported, nor is editing the content of PDF documents. And finally, the new Perfect PDF 6 Commentator offers a wide range of annotation tools for placing and editing comments in PDF files. Besides, the design and editing of PDF forms is possible. The program does not permit the creation of PDFs from other file formats. Editing the content of PDF documents is not possible either.
