Temporary Home Found for Gay Lesbian Advocacy Group USA - February 25, 2010 -- A gay and lesbian site advocating reading? A networking site advocating non-porn, intelligent interaction? It’s been coming together in the minds of the owners of the Queerbook.com URL since 2004. “We have found a temporary home and will be making huge changes in the structure to bring Queerbook.com up to the vision of our initial charter,” says Rick Williams of Lambda Advocacy. “We’ve been wanting to bring an alternative to the porn and sex driven interaction sites for the GLBT community. We’re not making judgments, the web needs those services. But, we feel it needs an alternative where intelligent conversation, advocacy issues and general life can be introduced. Plus, we are a gay owned business aiming to serve only the GLBT community.” The new digs of Queerbook.com are simply based on the NING site, however, the platform allows for advanced options in the near future. “Our first step is to allow a place for members to gather and express their opinions. Right now, we have implemented total privacy on the site from outside search engines. Secondly, members may register knowing their email and information is not going to be sold or used for solicitation.” The GLBT community is welcome to come by and join www.queerbook.com and actively participate in what the site will become. Its direction is in the hands of its members. or mail us at info@queerbook.com Contact : Rick Setter Queerbook.com USA 800-936-0812 support@kjprnews.com http://queerbook.com
