Bella Ink Designs Adds Two New Designs to Their Collection of Cards That Care

Business

Bella Ink Designs, a leading stationery design and manufacturing business based out of Lombard, Illinois, has introduced two new designs for their Cards that Care program. Lombard, IL, February 14, 2009 -- Two new stationery designs have been added to the Bella Ink Designs Cards that Care collection, growing the company’s charitable designs to three.  Melissa Danaher, owner and designer at Bella Ink, feels that as a business with a national presence, it is her responsibility to give back when and where she can.  In December of 2007 Bella Ink Designs released a folded note card titled “Think Pink.”  In 2008, 10% of all sales from the Pucci-inspired card were donated to Bright Pink, a Chicago-based organization designed to educate and provide support to young women at risk for breast and ovarian cancer.  The card is still available at boutique card and gift shops throughout the country.  It is offered in boxes of 10, with or without a rhinestone embellishment over the “i” in pink, or as a single note card available with the rhinestone, only.  The 2009 donation recipient has yet to be determined.  For more information on Bright Pink visit www.bebrightpink.org. This year Bella Ink Designs introduces EF-77, “Tree Hugger,” to their family of giving greetings.  EF-77 is another folded note card, available blank for personalization, or pre-printed with Thank You.  This card is a bit more masculine in feel thanks to the faux bois borders and green crocodile pattern running through the center.  The boxed note does not come with any embellishments, and is only available as a single when purchased with the pre-printed Thank You.  10% of Bella Ink’s sales from this card will go to American Forests, a group who plants one tree for every $1 donated.  For more information on American Forests visit www.americanforests.org. The final addition to the Cards that Care program is SF-5 and WP-5, “Chihuahua.”  Available as both a folded note and a boxed stationery set, 10% of this design’s sales will be donated to PAWS Chicago.  PAWS is a no kill humane society, which Danaher has been an active supporter of for years.  She recently ran the Chicago Marathon in October of 2008 for the PAWS Chicago team, raising money for the organization through pledges.  For more information on PAWS visit www.pawschicago.org.
